General information about your trips onboard a DAN AIR aircraft
The booking must contain the following mandatory elements: route and date of travel, passenger name, date of birth and citizenship and contact information. After the payment is completed, a 6 characters booking code (PNR) is generated. This code will be necessary to identify your booking during check-in or any interaction with our representatives, so we recommend you save it. Additional services are not mandatory for booking issuance. These services can be added later but you need to be aware some services (e.g., pet in cabin, unaccompanied minor) might be subject to availability.
Date and route of travel
Exact route and date of travel are required when booking a ticket. Open date/route tickets are not permitted.
After flight selection, the date and route of travel are displayed, at the top of each page and can be viewed in detail by clicking the arrow at the end of the section.
Name of the passenger
Please be advised it`s important that you select the correct passenger type (based on the age at the time of travel not the time of booking) and you insert the passenger`s name as it appears in the travel document (special characters such as hyphen or apostrophe are excluded).
If your name includes a special character you can replace it with a space or you can use a regular character (e.g., S instead of Ș).
If you have several first names or last names and you exceed the character number in the name section, you can exclude a name as this will not affect the validity of the ticket. If your document is issued in the first name/ middle name format you should insert both names in the first name field separated by a space.
If you swap the first and last name, there is no need to change your booking. It`s recommended you inform us through the contact form, but this issue will not affect your ticket.
Fictive names are not permitted. Changes for fictive or erroneous names can be done as per our travel conditions.

Contact information
Correct contact information is very important so we can notify you in case of any flight changes. Also all documents related to your booking (itinerary, receipt, boarding pass) will be sent to the email
address you provide so you need to make sure it`s typed correctly and that you can access the respective email.
Payment
The booking coordinates are displayed on the last page before the payment, so we advise you to verify them before proceeding with the payment confirmation.
Payment must be done at the end of the booking process with a MasterCard or Visa card. If the payment is successful, you will receive the electronic ticket and receipt from the payment processor.
In case you complete a payment but don`t receive the confirmation email and/or the receipt please check the guide for Payment errors.
Only infants can be added to an existing booking by contacting our Customer Support Team . Any other passenger type will be issued on a separate booking.
If you want to issue a ticket for a child that is traveling accompanied by an adult that already has a confirmed ticket you should also contact our Customer Support Team and provide the coordinates of the ticket you want to issue (date and route of travel, name, date of birth and nationality of the child and contact information) as well as the booking code of the accompanying adult. Our support team will create the reservation and send you payment instructions.
Unaccompanied minor is any Romanian citizen between the ages of 6 and 18 years old by the effective date of travel or foreign citizen aged between 6 and 14 years old by the effective date of the trip, who travels unaccompanied by an adult, in accordance with the legislation in the field, unless the legislation of the country of his citizenship imposes a different age for leaving his home country unaccompanied.
The unaccompanied minor service is added to the regular booking and the fee for this service is available in the Taxes and tariff rules section.
To issue such booking you will need to select the date and route of travel and click the Unaccompanied Minor button in the passenger section. You will be directed to a form where you need to fill the rest of the booking details. A customer support representative will create the booking and send you payment instructions.
Infants are children between 7 days and 2 years at the date of travel. To book a ticket you need to fill out the number of adults and the number of infants that will be on the ticket.
Because infants don’t have a separate seat on the aircraft (they travel on the accompanying adult`s lap) they will appear as associated to an adult. On the Infant information page, you need to select the adult that will accompany the infant.
If the infant is associated to the wrong adult or you need to divide the respective adult from the original booking, you should request the transfer of the infant first by contacting our Customer Support Team The infant can also be added to an existing booking but only with the help of our Customer Support Team. If you are booking in advance and the infant is not yet born, we recommend you add it to the booking after birth. The price of the infant ticket consists of a fixed fee that is available in the Taxes and tariff rules section.
When traveling with an infant for an extended period and for the return flight he/she exceeds the age limit for infants (2 years) you should book the segments separately (adult + infant for the outbound on a booking and adult + child for the inbound on a different booking).
If you have roundtrip booking with an infant and extend your trip with a date change, past the child`s second birthday the infant ticket will no longer be valid, and you will need to pay for the fare difference to the child ticket. This type of change can only be done by our Customer Support Team . In this case a credit will be issued for the infant fee, and it will be used as a partial payment for the new child ticket.
We allow booking corrections without penalties in the first 24 hours from issuance under the reserve that changes in general can be done up to 6 hours before the time of departure. For tickets issued less than 6 hours before the flight you need to ensure the information is correct as the booking can no longer be modified.
In case of date/ route changes the fare differences, if any, will be charged. The corrections can be done by contacting our Customer Support Team .
What happens when a passenger changes their name before or during the time of travel?
When a passenger goes through an administrative name change (marriage, divorce, adoption) after the time of purchase we can modify the name on the ticket, free of charge, if you send us the documents attesting to such change.
In case the change is made in the travel period, the name can no longer be changed, as a segment has already passed, but the passenger can still use the return if they present the documents attesting such change at the check-in desk.
Voluntary reservation changes (date, route, name change) are possible up to 6 hours before the flight given that you haven’t checked-in online for the respective segment. For name changes on round trip bookings the change can only be done if the first flight has not yet passed (regardless the passenger travelled or not) as the action applies to both flights.
The fess for voluntary changes vary based on the time of the request and are available in the Taxes and tariff rules section. The changes can momentarily be done only by contacting our Customer Support Team .
Voluntary date/ route changes apply to all passengers on the booking. If you want the change for only one passenger, you should request a booking division first or mention in the change request you only want the change for a specific passenger.
If you want to add special services or preferential seats on an existing booking you can access it online in the Manage booking section where you will use the booking code and your last name as search criteria.
After retrieving the booking, you need to click the Additional service button.
You will be redirected first to seat selection and subsequently to the ancillaries page where you can select the service you wish to add and proceed with the payment.
If you need an invoice for your ticket you need to register a request using the contact form on our website – Invoice request category. The resolution time for invoice requests is up to 14 calendar days.
When completing a booking you normally receive two separate emails, one with the payment receipt and one with the electronic ticket.
In case you encounter any issue during the payment ( non-responding page, failed 3D secure redirect) or you don`t receive the receipt/confirmation emails you should immediately contact our Customer Support Team using the Payment Errors category and provide complete details regarding the booking you attempted- date and route of travel, name of the passengers and booking reference if you managed to save it (displayed after the payment page is reloaded).
When booking a ticket during a promotion, please be advised the price displayed in the availability page already included the discount, both on the website and in the mobile app. During payment there is no need to apply a promo code.
Promotional tariffs are only valid for bookings confirmed (fully paid) during the promotion timeframe. In case, for any reason, you fail to complete the payment and you contact us after.
the promotion period has ended, the only alternative is to rebook the ticket at the price currently available in the system.

After you have paid for your reservation, a confirmation will be displayed on your screen and sent to you by email.
Whether you want to enjoy the view from a window seat, take advantage of the flexibility of an aisle seat, or simply show the whole family together, you can select the seats you want when you book your tickets. Seat selection is possible on the company's website, in the "Menu" -> "Reserve seats" section.
In case of a voluntary change, the previously paid place is not transferred for the new flight date. The amount previously paid for the seat reservation non-refundable.
To change your ticket, depending on the type of fare applied, you will pay a change fee. If you change your ticket to a higher class, you will also pay the difference between the original fare and the new fare, provided there are seats available.
